Can I have my container in my garden? PDF Print E-mail

In a nutshell, yes!

A shipping container is a temporary storage and transport unit.  It is not a permanent construction.  It may be that a local council or neighbour could object, after a period of time, if you do not have local planning permission, however, in the worst case, you could get some weatherboard fencing panels to dress the container so it blends in as if it were a shed.  Then you have a permanent secure storage unit.  EwePack has delivered hundreds of containers in gardens around Europe loaded with customers goods from the UK; customers in France renovating Gites; in Spain, converting farmhouses; in Ireland left in normal gardens; etc.

Please talk to your EwePack Move Director for guidance - don't allow an inexperienced person to give you advice without qualification.  Remember that containers can be easily collected and taken away if necessary and sold, even if there is a problem with planning issues.
