Loading Labour Options – Most of EwePack customers prefer to load their own container, however, we do have moving crews and can load for you so long as everything is professionally packed.
Ground Loading Option - Depending on your location and your access to the current home, it may be possible for us to provide a Ground Loading Option for you. This always costs a lot more in terms of transport costs, however, loading at ground level has many benefits. For instance, you can have the container up to a week if we can leave it in your drive (subject to suitable space); or we can get a Permit from your local authority to leave it in the public Highway (subject to survey). When on the ground, there is no lifting onto a lorry – so loading heavy items including machinery and cars is easy! Also with more time, you can choose what to take, what to leave and make a better job of the loading.
Documentation and Shipping – our experience and expertise in moving goods to foreign places benefits you. We take the hassle out of creating the customs documents and arranging the shipping of the container. We understand the shipping terms and will give you an inclusive cost for a particular service to meet your requirements. Check our Ship to Destinations to see a rough guide on transit times. At Destination – we have a network of agents around the world that we rely on to be your champion when the container arrives at the port of destination. Some of our customers request us to ship to another preferred agent, which we are happy to do. Most EwePack customers however, will ask us to appoint our agent for them to clear customs at the destination. Depending on the location, the agent will be able to perform as much or as little as you wish to secure the delivery of your container to your new property. Unloading The Container – Where ever you are moving to, we can arrange for a crew to unload the container and deliver the items inside your new property. In some places (such as Australia and New Zealand) we have to do this for you as part of the import process. If you plan on unloading your own goods, then please ensure you have sufficient help on hand.
