Groupage- Part Loads - For all of the popular ‘Ship To’ locations, we have a regular shared load service. This means that if you are only taking a part of the home contents, or have a small home, then you need not have a whole container.

Preparing the shipment – the important thing to bear in mind with this kind of part-load is that everything MUST be packed to a high standard. This is because a number of people will be collecting, transporting, loading and delivering your goods. Potentially everything could be handled manually by as many as 30 times between collection and delivery.

Generally we recommend that all furniture items and items which are not packed into cartons are professionally export packed. If we do the packing for you, this is included (see EwePack Premium services). If you pack yourself, we can supply the necessary professional quality materials (See EwePack e-store).

Collection – Whoever does the packing, we will collect the shipment from you and take it to our consolidation depot. At the time of collection we will give you a written receipt for the items.

Shipping - We will load the goods with other customers all bound for the same region as you, into the same container and ship to our agent to distribute after arrival. If your destination is not on our Ship To destinations, then we can still offer a part-load shipment in a commercial shipping service, but everything must be packed suitably for mechanical handling, such as our Lift-Van service; or everything must be packed into cartons. At Destination – For groupage shipments, we insist on using our agent at destination. This is because they have a whole container load of many different shipments belonging to different EwePack shippers. Our local agent will clear customs and quarantine and pay all charges up to their warehouse where the container will be unloaded. You can collect your shipment if you like, however, it is usually cheaper to pre-pay us to deliver to you.
