EwePack Shipping Services – Our European Services will vary depending on the final destination and your UK location. Obviously one load up in the UK by truck and drive to your new home abroad, but this is not always the best or most economic means of conveyance.
Weekly Road Services
All major cities across Europe are serviced by weekly commercial freight services. We use these where there is a non regular removals service, thus guaranteeing your goods are not kept waiting for the next load. We just need to ensure that your goods are packed suitably for the handling of your cargo. Don’t worry though, because we will tell you if additional packing is required.
We recommend the LIFT-VAN Service for protection of goods sent as a part-load to a destination served by commercial freight.
Weekly SEAFREIGHT Services
All of the large ports are served by feeder vessels and regular sailings from SOME British ports. Taking into account the collection and the delivery addresses, it is not always cost-effective to use the seafreight services as, often, empty returning foreign trucks can offer good deals for keeping transport costs down.
Tailored Quotation
Your dedicated Move Director will call and discuss your requirements and look to tailor a quotation based on your specific criteria. Please carefully complete the Enquiry Form with all relevant information in order we can get it right first time for you.
If your new destination is not listed on our Ship To Menu, do call and discuss your individual requirements. We can certainly carry out the shipment to your new destination – indeed we have delivered to Lapland on a sleigh and to a Greek Island Monastery on the back of a donkey – every job is different!
Notes & Special Requirements – Movements within the European Union are relative straight forward in terms of customs clearance formalities as you are entitled to Freedom of Movement nowadays. Other places, such as Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, etc. still require customs clearance formalities.
VAT is charged on all our services for consignments destined for places inside the EU. We can, however, zero rate this if the company is a foreign customer, under certain VAT rules - so please enquire if your business or new employer is paying the bill.
